findmygrail is a connector, not a seller
findmygrail connects buyers and sellers but is not involved in any transaction. We do not hold items, process payments between buyers and sellers, or guarantee outcomes. All transactions are between you and the other user. Please take appropriate precautions to protect yourself.
Do your research
Before buying, research the item and its fair market value. Check recent sales of similar items and compare prices. If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Check seller ratings
Review the seller's ratings and reviews from other buyers. New sellers with no ratings aren't necessarily risky, but extra caution is warranted.
Ask questions
Use the chat feature to ask the seller for more photos, condition details, provenance, or grading certificates. A trustworthy seller will be happy to provide them.
Safe payments
Use secure, traceable payment methods. Avoid cash transfers to unknown accounts, wire transfers, or cryptocurrency payments to strangers. For high-value items, consider an escrow service.
Safe pick-ups
If meeting for local pick-up, choose a safe, public, well-lit location — many police stations offer safe exchange zones. Bring a friend if possible, and inspect the item before paying.
Authentication
For high-value collectibles, consider professional authentication or grading services. Ask for certificates of authenticity and verify them with the issuing company where possible.
Protect your personal information
Don't share your home address, financial details, or identity documents through the platform. Use the in-app chat to communicate until you're confident in the transaction.
Report problems
If you encounter a suspicious listing, a prohibited item, or a fraudulent seller, use the 'Report listing' button on the listing page. Reports are reviewed and may lead to listing removal or account suspension.
